About Me

An accomplished and inspiring leader, I bring over two decades of expertise in patient advocacy, strategic leadership, community engagement, and healthcare innovation. Currently, I serve as the Patient Advocate Outreach Director for Clear Diagnostix, working with patients and physicians to acquire timely and affordable second opinions — a service I know firsthand can be lifesaving. Additionally, I am a National Patient Speaker for City of Hope, a Comprehensive Cancer Research Institute, and the Immediate Past Chair of the Board for Breast Cancer Solutions, an Orange County organization, dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients with financial resources and care continuity during treatment.

My journey as a nationally recognized speaker and advocate began in 2005 following my diagnosis with Triple Negative Inflammatory Breast Cancer, which carried a daunting 95% mortality rate. Refusing to be defined by those odds, I founded and led the Kommah Seray Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation (KSIBCF) as a legacy project, helping thousands of families by delivering financial relief and stabilizing care throughout their cancer treatment.

As a professional Patient Advocate and Navigator, I have contributed to multiple research studies in collaboration with prestigious organizations including City of Hope’s Center for Community Alliance for Research and Education, the National Institute of Health, and the California Breast Cancer Research Program. My work continues to push forward patient-centered care, champion self-advocacy, and inspire a paradigm shift towards achieving what I call “possible impossibles.”

I am a sought-after keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, and panelist for healthcare leadership events, corporate engagements, and philanthropic events. My insights and advocacy have been featured in prominent media outlets including the Los Angeles Times, Oprah Magazine, ForbesBooks Radio, City of Hope national commercials, and numerous other platforms.

I hold a Master of Science in Leadership and Management from the University of La Verne and certifications in Professional Advancement in Philanthropy and Protecting Human Research Participants from the National Institute of Health.

Residing in San Diego County with my husband, Charles, and our son, Christian, I remain driven by my passion for empowering patients and contributing to a healthcare landscape built on hope, innovation, and compassion.

My Mission

Living to Serve

Surviving two rare forms of breast cancer transformed my life and ignited an unrelenting mission to serve others. Every step of my journey has been fueled by a deep commitment to meet the needs of those facing life’s toughest battles. My service knows no boundaries or limits—where there is a genuine need, I show up wholeheartedly.

As a professional speaker, I am honored to amplify the voice and perspective of patients within the cancer community, advocacy world, workplace, medical field, and legislative arena. With extensive experience across these industries, I aim to elevate conversations by integrating the lived experiences of patients, bringing humanity and authenticity to spaces where decisions impact lives.

Equally, I am passionate about empowering individuals to find their voice, break through limitations, and pursue the seemingly impossible. As a living embodiment of a "POSSIBLE IMPOSSIBLE," I refuse to let fear impose limits that perseverance can shatter. I challenge norms, redefine boundaries, and inspire others to do the same—whether they are children or adults, supporters or leaders, blue-collar workers or CEOs.

My purpose is simple yet powerful: to ignite a passion for life’s impossibilities and help others see that what was once thought impossible is within reach.
